Located in Orford on the sunny east coast of Tasmania, The Orford Blue Waters has something for everyone. There are affordable rooms with lovely views of the Prosser River and Maria Island. A great restaurant, gaming, keno, UBET, the sports bar and a large outdoor area as well as a Thirsty Camel Bottle Shop. Orford is the gateway to the ‘Great Eastern Drive’, and the perfect location to base yourself while you explore the beautiful coastline. We cater for families, backpackers and couples – so no matter how you are exploring the east coast we can accommodate you.
Two Bedroom Family Studio
Our refurbished rooms are perfect for a weekend getaway for a springtime east coast fun with the family. At Orford, there are at least 6 beaches within walking distance from our front door. Enjoy beautiful beaches, great food and some good old east coast hospitality.
Superior Family Room
Our rooms are certainly not like they used to be! They have been renovated and rejuvenated and are now the best place to stay when you visit the beautiful East Coast.

Lovely people – Amazing experiences
Great to see that the Orford Blue Waters has lost all of the 80's shades of blue (outside and inside). The rooms were fresh, nicely presented and larger than expected. We were on a cycling tour and staff went out of their way to provide equipment to assist us with servicing our bicycles. The views of the river are superb (from both the dining & hotel rooms prior to sunset) and the pub meals were all well received.
Great place to stay on the east coast. Rooms have been recently renovated, and are immaculate. Beautiful food in the restaurant. Quiet and private, with great parking. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Big thank you to Carrie who manages the accommodation who made our stay wonderful
